Watch this space.
As everyone knows its xmas on monday, Well James has got a little bet going with his mum and dad. He has been told he is getting an umbrella for xmas, of course he doesnt believe this, so the challenge has been laid down, If James does get an umbrella, he has to wear his underpants on the outside of his clothes all day on xmas day, If he doesnt get an umbrella, his mum and dad have to do the same!!! keep watching to see the photos, who will it be?

Line Marshalls.
A couple of weeks ago Carol asked if anyone wanted to train to be a Line Marshall. If any parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle etc. who comes to watch the team play wants to train, let carol know ASAP. Personally I think it would make sense to have a few people trained so that we never have no one available to do the job, and also so that one person isnt doing it all the time.

Loss number 2
In the first post i said that the lads had only been beaten by one side this season, well make that 2 now.
the score today was West Hull 34 Beverley Braves 4.
the half time score was 12-0.
the lads put up a good performance but were beaten by a very good side in Wests. Try scorer for the Braves was the prolific Kieran Backhouse, and the man of the match was the ever reliable Kieran Hatton.
That is it for Rugby until the new year, so lets hope for a second half of the season as good as the first.

welcome to you all
Welcome to the first post on this blog,I have started it to chart the progress of a lads rugby league team from the Humberside league, this team is called "Beverley braves" and they are all lads in the under 12 age group.
This season they are currently top of their league, winning all but one of their games so far this season.
The lads put in a great deal of work, until this week they actually trained on 2 nights, each session lasted about 2 hours, but it has just been cut to one night.
They play on a sunday morning and their home ground is at longcroft school in Beverley.
This blog will help to keep an online record of events and happenings from the lads(and parents, no one is safe) so until next time, i will sign off now, please come back and read the posts. support is welcome if anyone wants to come along and watch.
