The game against Norland was called off again at the weekend because the pitch was unfit.
The next game is against Myton warriors at Oak Road on sunday usual kick off time of 10:15.
Lets hope after the last game against these that we have a proper referee as the last time we played it was a little hectic to say the least.

Norland take 2
We again try to play the postponed game from a fortnight ago against Norland at Sydney Smith school (10 15).
If their pitch is unplayable, i have heard a rumour we may try and play them at longcroft.
This is a game we should be able to win comfortably and lets hope the team can put recent results behind them and finish the season off strongly.

Welcome to the ranks, Ben, He played his first game at the weekend against Skirlaugh, must have wanted to grab back his registration form and change teams straight away!!!!
Not the best of performances from the team to mark his debut. but good luck anyway and just try your best, but the main thing is to enjoy yourself.

Lets move on
Oh dear! Shall we just forget this performance?. Score was Beverley 0 Skirlaugh 14.
This has got to go down as one of our worst performances of the season, possibly the only good point to come out of the game was the fact that the boys actually remembered what they were told to do on tuesday at training in the fact that they actually slowed down Skirlaugh at the play the ball. If we can play so badly and still only lose by 14 points then there must be hope.

Next game
This week Beverley are playing hosts to Skirlaugh in a cup game at Longcroft school, (Kick off as usual 10:15)
This is a chance for the lads to get back to winning ways after last weekends postponement.
Try and remember all you learnt on tuesday at training and put it into practise, this will be a hard game as it was skirlaugh that ended the yorkshire cup trail this year, but it is a game we can win if we apply ourselves properly, good luck boys

Norland game off.
The norland game was postponed yesterday because of an unfit pitch.

Norland next
This week we are entertained by Norland at sydney smith school (kick off 10:15) weather permitting.
This should be a chance for the lads to get back on track with a win that hopefully will kick start the end of season run in, and hopefully will set us up for a good play offs at the end of the campaign.
we will of course be without the unlucky liam who suffered a broken arm in the last game against Bilton sullys, lets hope the lads can give him something to cheer him up in the form of a good performance.

Another week another loss!!
On a very hard frosty pitch, which did thaw as the game went on Beverley were beaten by a Bilton sullys side that are having a very good season.
The final score was Bilton 16 Beverley 10.
As in the last game there wasnt a great deal in the score and this game could have gone either way.
Beverley were again changed for this game but it was for disciplinary reasons rather than injuries or purely positional changes, some players missed out on a start after some attrocious behaviour in training, come on lads get your heads in gear, lets have a good week in training!!

Man of the match: Ellis.
