What a difference a week makes.

WOW!! What a performance today, We looked a totally different side to the last few games. In the first half the lads scored 5 unanswered tries to lead by 22 points to nil at half time.
The second half was a little more even with East Hull coming back strongly and the final score was 26-4 to a very good Beverley side.
This was expected to be a tough game and i must admit I was half expecting another defeat as East Hull are a side that can give a good hammering on their day. But Beverley totally blitzed them in the first half, At half time the team had made a total of 16 tackles!! this shows their superiority and how much of the ball they had had.
All the lads that had moved positions played really well and looked like they had played there for years. Kieran added speed to the middle and did really well.
Lewis fitted in at full back like a veteran, Ashley (h) did well when he came on, but as a whole everyone did really well.
The resurgance of East Hull in the second half coincided with the period of time Ed was off the pitch and once again he led the forwards like a man possessed, ably assisted by the other forwards. Lee has got them believing that they are the best pack in the league, and they looked it today. good performances again from Calvin, always probing, solid in defence, and the wingers also tackled well . they might not have got a lot of ball but the defence was as important as the attacking threat.
